Are shades with a pull cord safe around young children?
Any shade with a pull cord can be a strangulation hazard for young children. If young children or pets are in your home, we recommend a cordless or battery-powered motorized lift option.
How can I make a corded shade safer?
Keep cords out of reach of children and never tie them in loops. Secure the cord with a cord cleat or tension device, and keep cribs, beds and furniture away from windows with cords.
